Based in Kelowna, British Columbia, Jim is one of the world’s leading experts on mining with more than 30 years of major project management experience in the mining industry. Most recently he served as the President & CEO of EKATI Diamond Mine, BHP Billiton Diamonds Inc.

He has also been involved with some of the world’s premier companies and mining projects including BHP Minerals in the United States and CQCA Joint Venture in Australia. His global experience has enabled him to establish extensive contacts within the mining industry worldwide.

Jim’s leadership in the development of mining in the Northwest Territories and managing Aboriginal relations through co-operative efforts is indicative of the depth of his knowledge and understanding of one of the fastest developing resource areas in Canada.
